Hotel and creator collaborations without fees: how the exchange works
· 3 min read

Most hoteliers hear “influencer marketing” and think of a price list. A fee per post, contracts, agencies. That model still exists, but it is not the model that works for the average Greek hotel.
What works is the exchange.
The logic, in plain terms
You have rooms that will not sell. In May, in October, on June weekdays. The cost of hosting someone there is one cleaning and one breakfast. The creator has something you pay dearly for elsewhere: professional video production and an audience that trusts them. The exchange is obvious. A stay in return for content.

In the most common form of the collaboration there is no fee from either side. What exactly gets agreed is settled between the two parties: easyInfluencer.travel does the verification and the matching, the agreement is made between hotel and creator.
What the hotel actually gets
One stay does not produce one video. It usually yields three or four. Each video finds its own audience through search and the algorithm, and it stays there. A traveller researching your destination six months from now will land on it. By the end of a season with one collaboration a month, you have a content library that no advertising budget builds at this cost.
What to watch out for
First, verification. The numbers someone shows you in a screenshot are not data. On easyInfluencer.travel every creator connects their real Instagram or TikTok account and the hotel sees real metrics, first among them the average views of their latest videos.
Second, the agreement. Deliverables, dates and terms, all in writing before check-in, not in DMs.
Third, the dates. You offer the periods when you have gaps. August does not need promotion. May does.
The first step
Write down which weeks of next season you fear will stay empty. Those are your Open Stays. That is where the first collaboration starts.
