The villas step down the cliff on several levels, looking across the caldera toward Thirasia island and out to the sunset. Suites are carved into the rock, with arched ceilings and wooden furniture made by hand; each has a seating area, sometimes set apart from the sleeping quarters, and certain suites have a private spa bath. Wi-Fi is complimentary and a laptop can be requested. Curved rooftops and terraces lined with bougainvillea run through the grounds. Part of the swimming pool is open to the sky and part sits inside an arched cavern, which is also where the hot tub is. Massage, facial and hair-dressing treatments are on offer, along with a sauna. The restaurant cooks local dishes in contemporary preparations and will send meals to the suite; the Sun Spirit Café-Bar handles beverages and lighter food. A Santorinian breakfast arrives daily.
