The site is a slope above the sea and the building follows it down, which accounts for the views and also for the stairs; guests with mobility restrictions may find it hard going. Sea fills 360° of the outlook, Nisyros Island and the bay of Kardamena included, and the beach below has been awarded a Blue Flag. Sun rises and sets across the water here. There are 244 rooms and suites, superior categories among them, some with private pools and some with infinity pools. Meals are spread across 3 à la carte restaurants and 6 bars, one of which turns into a grill-bar in the evening. Tables face the sea, and cabanas are hung along the cliffs at the water's edge. Guests may also use the facilities at Mitsis Ramira, near Kos town, at no charge. The service is Greek hospitality with a luxury finish.
