The sea is only 1000 ft from the Hotel Glaros, in Agia Galini in South Crete. A fresh-water pool takes up the middle of the property, with a sunbathing terrace, a pool-side bar and a smaller pool for children. Rooms are minimally decorated and air conditioned, each with a satellite LCD TV, a refrigerator, a marble bathroom and a private balcony over the pool; some add a fully equipped kitchen and a living room. Breakfast is served every morning in the dining room and comes with the rate, while the lounge bar and its patio pour drinks and coffee. Snorkeling, diving, fishing, cycling and hiking all go on nearby. The front desk is open 24 hours and parking is free right outside the entrance.
