Occupying a site on the northeastern coast of Santorini, 2 mi from Fira and 3.4 mi from the airport, Magma Resort Santorini is the first property of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in Greece. It sits in the village of Vourvoulos, away from the busier parts of the island, with landmark spots such as Oia and Imerovigli around a ten-minute drive away. At Magma Soul the menu travels through regional Greek cooking, from the north of the country to the south. Colombo serves a Champagne breakfast in the morning and unhurried lunches later in the day, while Astra Lounge hosts private dinners with butler service in the open air. Bar on the Rocks handles poolside snacks, cocktails and aperitivo hour beside the fire pit. Private wine tastings led by the resort's sommelier take place among the Magma Vineyards, pairing winemaking with a relaxed setting. Lava Spa, operated by Aegeo Sapa, draws on the Aegean Sea and Santorini's volcanic soil for its holistic wellness treatments. Facilities include an indoor heated pool, three treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. A complimentary Yoga Ritual is held at sunrise.
