Newly opened on the western edge of the Gulf of Chania, built right along a pebbled beach, with the gulf and Cape Spatha in view. Rooms are elegantly furnished and all face the sea, each with a 26' flat screen satellite TV, a mini-bar and an internet connection. Four places to eat: Arsenali does buffet international and Greek; the Sea Line beach tavern concentrates on Cretan specialties; Azzuro is a la carte Italian; and Avra Restaurant presents Eastern and Mediterranean selections. Greek breakfast is put out daily in the dining area. There is a main pool, a separate one for children, and an extensive spa. The property lies 11 mi west of Chania, close to both the Cretan Archipelagos and the Old Venetian town, and taxi transfers can be arranged for an additional fee.
